Re: Eye exercises - pure quackery!?

Dear friend,

I think it was sometime in high school I started to notice it - whenever the teacher wrote something on the blackboard I couldn't read it if I was sitting anywhere behind the first few rows.

As embarrassing as this was I didn't get myself glasses - not because it would have been too expensive, but because I kept telling myself that "I really didn't need glasses...".

I am no shrink, but I would guess it had something to do with that I have always been into sports and stayed in great shape so somehow my sub-concious was telling me that having to wear glasses was a weakness...

..little did I know that someone would soon use my attitude against me to sell me a reasonably expensive product!

Anyway, what finally made me recognize the fact that my nearsightedness, or "myopia", was a handicap - was a newspaper article staring me in the face one morning.

"The police now not only check how fast you drive your car, if you are sober etc...they also can stop you and check your visual acuity!"

I never drink and drive and am a responsible driver - yet the police might now pull me over and declare me unfit to drive - now that would have been embarrassing.

My vision wasn't so bad that I would actually have been banned from driving, but nontheless the above news story motivated me to start doing some online research into nearsightedness...

..and soon enough there it was:

"How to Improve Your Vision Naturally Without Glasses, Contacts, or Surgery"

They even told me that I might have actually prevented some deterioration of my eyes by actually not wearing corrective glasses or lenses for all that time...that glasses indeed was sort of a crutch!

Now, not being used to reading many sales letters, I was totally blown away by their looong sales copy - if you had to sell something this hard there certainly must be something fishy about it!

Still, I had for many years been very into qigong and other forms of "alternative medicine" and indeed found it to be very effective for both me and my family.

What they where saying about "eye doctors not wanting people to know about these simple tactics" also made sense. After all, if this actually worked, it would be a considerable threat to the lucrative businesses of selling framed lenses.

To top it all of they offered a complete money back/satisfaction guarantee, so I took the plunge and ordered the Rebuild Your Vision package.

  • Rebuild your vision imageSo what happened?
  • Did I improve my vision in 30 days as promised
  • Did it indeed have any effect at all?

Keep reading to find out the truth...

One obvious thing with this kind of alternative therapy/exercise is that you have to do it regularly for it to work - and I did.

And to my horror I had to start doing some of the exercises on a very basic level (normally I will do quite well straight away in almost any kind of fitness program).

In fact there was one of the exercises that was so difficult that I couldn't pull it off at all! Now, the training manual said that you had to be patient with this particular exercise, and I told myself not to worry about it. But when it still didn't work..

"14 days into the program I was about ready to give up and send the program back, angrily asking for a refund"

However, since they promised to offer free support to all customers - I contacted them and described my problem. Someone answered in a surprisingly pedagogic manner, and gave me a few suggestions on how I could alter my exercise regimen and keep on trying with the difficult exercise.

A few days later I managed to do this exercise successfully for the first time and I was ecstatic and decided to continue my daily regimen.

So what was my results after doing these exercises for 25-30 minutes each day for 30 days?

To my own surprise, I had actually made good progress!

When I started I measured my visual acuity to being about 20/50 (seeing at 20 feet what a person with perfect vision could see at 50 feet) had improved to about 20/30!

Certainly not bad - but there was one problem:

The improvements I saw in my vision training didn't seem to translate to real life as effectively.

Although I did steady progress with the exercises I didn't feel that my vision was significantly better in the real world - I couldn't read traffic signs from further away, and when I went to a business seminar I still had difficulty seing what was displayed on the overhead projector (stupid me for thinking I could read their too small text from the back of the room).

So I was thrust into doubt once more...

"It would seem that the program worked sort of only on an academic level - what good was it if my improved vision wasn't there when I actually needed it!?"

Still, there was no denying that when exercising I was able to focus on objects from further away. This was most perplexing!

But this time I wasn't prepared to give up - if all those people in their testimonials had improved their vision I should certainly be able to do so as well!

And two weeks later my patience would finally be rewarded!

Like it often is, the answer had been right there under my nose (even in it - more about that later) all the time.

The first answer was actually there in the Rebuild your vision manual - you have to practise the concept in real life in order to get it to work in real life. By doing this the improvement in the exercises will translate to real life applications as well.

However, my second discovery was even more important - your eyes really do need to be relaxed in order to work optimally. Sitting glued to the computer screen without resting your eyes will gradually worsen any eye condition you have.

The excellent Rebuild Your Vision program does provide some relaxation and massage techniques but, for my computer strained eyes, they where not enough.

Being an active practitioner of qigong and taiji I don't know why I didn't think of the obvious solution before - acupressure! Those clever Chinese have massage techniques and acupressure for everything, so why not for the eyes?!

So I went to work researching far and wide in books on acupressure, acupuncture and qigong and immediately started using what I learned every day, whenever my eyes felt strained and tired.

The results where nothing short of amazing!

These simple but rejuvenating massages was the one missing piece of the puzzle. And, as if to reward me doubly, I soon after having restored my vision to a normal, 20/20 level AND learned how to completely rejuvenate and relax my eyes in a matter of minutes -  happened to see an advertisement for some electric goggles that supposedly would stimulate the accupressure points around your eyes.

It would completely relax your eyes and stop your eyes from deteriorating, they claimed. And all this would cost you was about a hundred dollars...

Why would you spend that kind of money for something you can do in a few minutes with your own hands?!

And would you wear some large, dodgy looking goggles at work when you need to relax your eyes?

Of course not - people have been sacked for less!

The Rebuild your vision program on the other hand does everything it promises, and it does it extremely well. If you use the program you will improve your nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism or aging vision.

And all it takes is a one time investment and some patience (unlike constantly needing to upgrade your glasses).

Invaluable bonus only by ordering from this page!

The only thing I wish I had done differently when restoring my vision was to discover the massage techniques I now use daily much sooner. Had I been using them from day one I am positive that I had seen results with the Rebuild You Vision program even sooner and without the initial frustration.

Massage guide cover

Although I have spent considerable amounts of both time and money in aquiring this information, I am not going to put a "recommended price" on this guide since you are getting it for free.  But as a reference you could take the "acupressure goggles" that cost over $100 and couldn't hold a candle to these traditional and proven methods.

You also can not purchase this guide at any price elsewhere...
